Primary Purpose
To join our team as a Pensions Administrator, operating within a pension services environment where deep technical expertise and practical experience are core strengths. Full onsite training will be provided within our Stockport (SK4) office, working full-time (9am–5pm, Monday–Friday, with 1 hour unpaid lunch). Ideal for recent graduates or individuals keen on financial services careers.

Role Details
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and implement all operational aspects of UK self-invested pension schemes, including:
- Bank account reconciliations for clients
- Database maintenance for accurate client records
- Monthly/annual payroll management for client accounts
- Online banking payments initiated from client accounts
- Invoicing systems for clients and third parties
- New business onboarding via applications
- Projections and illustrations:
- Initial, annual, and ad-hoc financial projections
- Calculation and processing of benefit payments and reviews
- Investment administration:
- Coordination with insurers/investment managers on transfers
- Valuations, new investments, and custodial duties
- Client support:
- Handling queries via email, letter, telephone, and face-to-face interactions
- Maintaining relationships with clients, financial advisers, and intermediaries
- General administrative tasks:
- Filing, scanning, and postal correspondence
- Additional technical/administrative projects to meet business needs

Requirements & Qualities
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate:

- Advantage: Any prior experience or knowledge in financial services welcomed

- Salary: £25–£26K per annum (depending on experience)
