Pensions Administrator

Experienced Pensions Administrator

Isio’s Pensions Administration business continues to thrive, growing year on year. To support our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for experienced and member-focused pension administrators.

We currently have one open vacancy, which can be based in our London, Reading, or Croydon**, London, Birmingham, Bristol or Belfast city centre offices with a hybrid workstyle.**


What Does the Role Entail?

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to a portfolio of Defined Benefit (DB) pension scheme clients and their members. Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring agreed operational activities are processed in line with scheme rules, taking ownership for all work to maintain high standards and adherence to client Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Providing outstanding member service through accurate, timely and empathetic communication, primarily via phone and email, ensuring members’ expectations are managed effectively
  • Using a range of tools and systems to record actions and track assigned cases through to conclusion, while providing consistent member updates
  • Calculating member benefits with precision and accuracy
  • Escalating errors, omissions and complaints promptly in accordance with agreed procedures—ensuring all are resolved within the appropriate timescales

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a pension administrator, demonstrating proven knowledge of delivering administration services for Defined Benefit pension schemes
  • Exceptional member service focus, with strong interpersonal skills to:
    • Build relationships with members
    • Set and manage clear expectations
    • Handle diverse and sometimes sensitive enquiries
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling positive interactions with clients, members, and colleagues
  • Excellent organisational skills with the capability to balance multiple tasks concurrently to ensure SLA compliance
  • Proficiency with general IT, including comfort with Microsoft Office and other system functionalities
