Overview

Are you ready to make an impact in the world of pensions?

We’re recruiting a Pensions Associate to join our Pensions Operations team in Bristol. If you’re highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional service, this could be your next step.

As a Pensions Associate, you’ll administer a diverse portfolio of occupational pension schemes, including:

  • Defined Benefit (DB) pensions
  • Defined Contribution (DC) pensions
  • Hybrid pensions

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing precise calculations
  • Drafting member correspondence
  • Running pensioner payrolls
  • Supporting the Client Executive team

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing pension administration tasks and calculations with accuracy and efficiency
  • Communicating with scheme members via email, phone, and letters
  • Preparing member correspondence and client reports
  • Handling non-standard client and member queries
  • Collaborating with peers and supporting the Team Leader
  • Assisting the Client Executive team with operational responsibilities

About You

Ideal Qualities & Skills

  • Experience in pension scheme administration (DB/DC preferrable but not essential)
  • Willingness to study (or studying towards) the Pension Management Institute’s CPC qualification
  • Strong analytical abilities with a logical approach to problem-solving
  • Exceptional attention to detail in processing data and compliance tasks
  • Excellent communication skills for professional, member-facing interactions
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
