Job Title: Senior Data & Pension Projects Specialist Duration: 1st September 2026 – 28th July 2028 Workload: Full time hours Setup: Day rate contract inside IR35 Rate: £450 per day plus holiday pay Location: London
The client wants a senior pensions data specialist who can run complex DB pension projects end-to-end, especially system upgrades and data migrations. The key is deep experience with pension admin platforms (ideally Compendia), strong data handling, and the ability to fix/optimise large, messy datasets.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver end-to-end pension projects, including system upgrades, data migrations, and process improvements Oversee and enhance pension administration platforms (e.g. Compendia) ensuring data integrity and performance Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors, internal IT teams, and data governance stakeholders Lead data-focused activities such as actuarial valuation extracts, GMP equalisation, and pension dashboards Ensure compliance with UK pension legislation, reporting requirements, and governance standards Analyse large datasets, improving data quality, validation processes, and reporting accuracy Support cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Must-Have Skills: Strong experience in UK defined benefit pensions Proven background in pension administration systems (e.g. Compendia or similar platforms) Expertise in data management, data quality, and large dataset handling Knowledge of pensions legislation and regulatory compliance Experience delivering IT system upgrades or transformation projects
