Head of Pensions Solicitor Birmingham Partner / Legal Director Level

A leading national law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Pensions Solicitor to head up its Birmingham pensions practice. This is a standout opportunity for an ambitious senior lawyer seeking the autonomy to shape and grow a well-established offering while working alongside nationally recognised specialists across the wider business.
The Role
This is a strategic appointment for a senior pensions lawyer with the expertise and commercial acumen to lead and develop a thriving practice. Advising a diverse client base that includes employers, trustees, public sector organisations and corporate clients, you will handle a broad range of pensions matters including scheme governance, benefit redesign, regulatory compliance, corporate transactions, de-risking exercises and complex advisory work.
Working closely with colleagues across corporate, employment, banking and real estate, you will play a key role in developing client relationships, winning new work and mentoring the next generation of pensions lawyers. The position offers genuine influence over the future direction of the team and the opportunity to contribute to the firm's wider national pensions strategy.

The Candidate
Applications are sought from qualified Solicitors with extensive pensions experience gained within a recognised regional, national or international law firm. You will possess strong technical expertise, excellent commercial awareness and a proven track record of delivering pragmatic advice to a broad client base. Previous experience of leading teams, developing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives will be highly advantageous.
