The Role
Reporting to the Director of People Operations, Reward and People Partnering, the People Advisor will play a key role in creating a high performing and inclusive employee experience. You will be a trusted point of contact for employees and managers across the business, support key People team initiatives, help resolve global employee relations issues and promote best practice in line with our Company Values.
This role exists to create real capacity within the People Partnering team — enabling our Senior People Partners and People Relations Partner to focus on strategic, high-impact work, while you ensure the foundations are consistently excellent. It’s an ideal role for someone who is passionate about people, takes pride in getting things right, and is ready to grow their HR career in a fast-paced, global fintech.
What Excites You
- Being the Go-To: You will act as a key point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers, triaging with good judgement and resolving where you can. You will look to drive improvements across our employee and manager self-serve capabilities in order to support our HR operating model.
- Supporting People Partners: You will provide hands-on support to the three Senior People Partners and the People Relations Partner, helping them deliver across performance, retention, ER and people initiatives in their business groups. You will ensure data is accurate and supporting materials are available and effective.
- Employee Relations Support: You will help to resolve ER matters with care and consistency, escalating more complex cases to the People Relations Partner where required. You will offer advice and coach managers in order to build manager capability.
- Supporting our HR operating model: You will contribute to the development of HR processes, templates and toolkits that make the People team’s work more scalable and consistent, and support the rollout of people initiatives across the business.
- Connecting the Dots: You will collaborate with colleagues across the People team to ensure a joined-up, coherent employee experience at every touchpoint using data to help evidence-based decision making.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- A Strong Communicator: You are clear and confident in your communication — written and verbal — and can build trust quickly with people at all levels of the business.
