The Opportunity

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a genuinely varied role where you can make a real impact? We're partnering with a well-established professional services organisation that is entering an exciting period of sustained growth. As they continue to expand, they are looking to appoint a People Advisor who will play a key role in supporting the business and shaping its people agenda. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, this is a true generalist position offering broad exposure across the entire employee lifecycle. Working within a small, collaborative People team, you'll have the autonomy to manage your own workload while being involved in strategic initiatives that will influence the future direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to broaden their HR experience. You'll be involved in:

  • Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers across the business.
  • Managing a wide range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
  • Supporting recruitment activities from attraction through to onboarding.
  • Delivering and supporting Learning & Development initiatives.
  • Assisting with organisational change projects, including TUPE processes where required.
  • Reviewing and developing HR policies, procedures and people initiatives.
  • Supporting the Head of HR with strategic HR projects as the business continues its growth journey.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
