This is a part time role, 4 days a week. London based, with occasional travel to Haywards Heath. Role Overview The People Advisor provides operational People support across the Finance and Legal functions. The role focuses on employee relations, organisational change and manager advisory support, ensuring consistent delivery of people processes and the use of data-led insights to support proactive interventions. Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & Manager Advisory

  • Lead end-to-end management of moderate employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence and flexible working matters
  • Provide pragmatic and commercially focused advice to managers - resolving people issues effectively
  • Coach managers to build capability, confidence and consistency in people management
  • Support investigations and consultation processes where required
  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases appropriately Organisational Change & Restructuring
  • Lead and support moderate organisational change and redundancy consultations
  • Support managers through change processes, ensuring compliance with policy and employment legislation
  • Prepare consultation documentation and provide guidance on process and approach
  • Support delivery of organisational change initiatives
  • Escalate complex or large-scale change activity as appropriate People Insights & Data
  • Use Workday and other people data sources to identify trends across employee relations, absence, attrition and engagement
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support proactive interventions
  • Highlight emerging risks and themes
  • Support evidence-based decision-making across the functions
  • Contribute to manager capability and preventative people initiatives through data-led recommendations People Processes & Recruitment Support
  • Support delivery of annual people processes including performance, talent, reward and engagement cycles
  • Support implementation of People Plan priorities across the business areas
  • Advise managers on recruitment processes, including role scoping, job requisitions and interview approach
  • Provide guidance on selection and assessment best practice
  • Participate in interviews where required to support consistency and fair decision-making
  • Support managers through cyclical people processes and ensure consistent application of policy and practice Stakeholder Support, Governance & Compliance
  • Build effective working relationships with managers and leaders across Finance and Legal
  • Act as a trusted People advisor on day-to-day people matters within defined scope
  • Support compliance activities including occupational health referrals, visas and Subject Access Requests (SARs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case records
  • Ensure activities are managed in line with policy, employment legislation and governance requirements
  • Any other duties as reasonably required Skills & Experience
  • Strong HR generalist experience within a complex organisation
  • Proven experience managing employee relations cases independently
  • Experience supporting organisational change and restructuring activity
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Experience coaching and advising managers
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using people data to identify trends and drive action
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
  • Experience using Workday for reporting, dashboards and workforce insights (desirable)
  • Effective and timely management of employee relations matters
