What will you be doing?

As a passionate People Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in the initial TUPE transfer of up to 140 employees into the business, supporting the mobilisation of a newly secured contract. This is a 12‑month fixed-term contract, based at either Warwickshire or St Ives, Cambridgeshire, and will require close collaboration with the leadership team of the new contract and key Centres of Expertise (CoEs) to ensure a smooth, compliant, and engaging transition.

You will work closely with leaders to embed the people strategy within the division during a critical period of transition and growth, enabling leadership teams to prioritise the people agenda. You’ll champion initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, maximise productivity, and support the profitable growth of the division.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
