Role Purpose

If you're an experienced People Business Partner who thrives on building trusted relationships and influencing leaders, this fixed-term opportunity will see you making an impact from day one.

You'll hit the ground running, partnering with senior leaders to deliver strategic and commercial people outcomes across a dynamic business portfolio.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance across the full employee lifecycle
  • Navigate complex people matters and help leaders build high-performing, inclusive teams
  • Work closely with the broader People team, translating business priorities into practical people solutions that support organisation success and drive meaningful change

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with senior leaders to deliver people strategies that support:
    • Business performance
    • Transformation
    • Growth
  • Act as a trusted advisor, coaching leaders on:
    • Performance and employee relations
    • Organisational design
    • Workforce planning
    • Talent management
  • Lead complex people matters, providing pragmatic advice aligned with:
    • Legislation
    • Policy
    • Best practice
  • Drive and support key People initiatives, including:
    • Talent reviews
    • Performance cycles
    • Capability development
    • Engagement
    • Organisational change
  • Collaborate with:
    • Talent Acquisition
    • People Centres of Excellence
    • Deliver integrated people solutions
  • Champion inclusive leadership and contribute to fostering a diverse, high-performing culture
  • Identify opportunities to:
    • Improve people practices
    • Simplify processes
    • Enhance the employee experience

About You

We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with:

  • 5 to 7 years of industry experience
  • Partnering with leaders across complex or fast-paced organisations
  • Ability to:
    • Establish credibility quickly
    • Confidently manage an established stakeholder portfolio from day one
  • Commercially minded, translating business priorities into practical people solutions
  • Strong experience supporting organisations through:
    • Change
    • Transformation
    • Evolving business priorities
  • Deep working knowledge of:
    • Employee relations
    • Performance management
    • Organisational design
    • Talent practices
  • A trusted advisor who:
    • Builds strong relationships
    • Influences decision-making at all levels
    • Navigates sensitive conversations with confidence
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive
  • Prone to continuous improvement, with a passion for developing high-performing, inclusive teams
  • Tertiary qualification in:
    • Human Resources
    • Business, or a related discipline
