About the Company

We are a crowdfunded company and have a dedicated and enthusiastic community of backers who are helping us create the “Best Damn Space Sim Ever”. We want to build the best we can deliver and we believe wholeheartedly in the value of exceptional diverse talent.

Cloud Imperium Games are looking for a People Coordinator to join our high performing team based onsite at our studio in Manchester. You will support with various initiatives across HR and Talent Acquisition with a focus on administration of the employee life cycle and supporting our recruitment processes.

What does a People Coordinator at CIG do?

  • Utilise digital tools to manage administration of the employee lifecycle (starters, leavers, benefits etc), identifying and adopting opportunities for automation.
  • Support HR leaders in our Manchester studio in providing an exceptional employee experience through proactive problem-solving, managing our ticketing platform and inboxes.
  • Liaising with external benefit providers to ensure accurate data is maintained.
  • Assist in the creation and posting of job advertisements on various platforms.
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate logistics, acting as the candidate's point of contact during onsite interviews and studio tours.
  • Maintain and update candidate databases and tracking systems.
  • Prepare and distribute offer paperwork and other recruitment-related documentation.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings.
  • Assist in the preparation of onboarding materials and new hire documentation.
  • Work with the wider people team to conduct onboarding sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.

What do we expect from our People Coordinator?

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within recruitment or HR.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
