People Coordinator

People Co-Ordinator

As a People Co-Ordinator, you will support the day-to-day operations of our People Team by playing a critical part in delivering a smooth employee experience through handling key administrative tasks across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Administration

    • Coordinate and support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes to employment, and offboarding processes through the People Services inbox.
    • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, reference requests, and other HR documentation.
    • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and personal files in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • HRIS and Systems Support

    • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the HRIS.
    • Generate standard and ad hoc reports for internal use and compliance reporting.
    • Support the implementation and ongoing optimisation of HR systems and tools.
  • Employee Support

    • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, providing timely and accurate information or escalating where necessary.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities, and internal communications.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration

    • Liaise with Payroll to ensure accurate transfer of employee data.
    • Support the administration of employee benefits, absence tracking, and statutory leave (e.g., maternity, paternity, sick leave).

  • Compliance and Reporting
    • Ensure all HR processes and records comply with company policies and employment legislation.
    • Assist with audits and reporting related to compliance, diversity, and workforce metrics.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Competent at using Microsoft packages, such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of employment legislation.
  • CIPD L3 or above.
