Role: People Coordinator

Reporting to:

People Manager/People Business Partner then Head of People

Main Duties & Responsibilities Include:

  • Two-way communication providing advice and support to line managers and employees as required over the phone, email and in person on a range of topics including absence management, holiday calculations, notice periods and signposting to external resources
  • Provide first line support to managers and employees in dealing with discipline and grievance procedures
  • Provide support on boarding new recruits for head office vacancies, issue offer letters/contracts, complete background checking, induct and provide support by being a point of contact for the new start
  • Provide information to key stakeholders using reports available via our in-house systems, formatting the data to their needs
  • Maintain accurate computerised records, including appraisals, salary information and in-house systems
  • Understand and work with managers to ensure we comply with company policies and procedures
  • Support the wider team as required
  • Ability to work confidentially
  • Carry out ad hoc projects
  • Undertake tasks delegated by management
  • Ensure all communication adheres to the GDPR policies
  • Work with own initiative and as part of the wider team
  • Understand and comply with the Company’s Health & Safety policy & procedures
  • Carry out any other duties as required by Company management

Please note this role is based from our Livingston HQ, on a hybrid basis - working a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
