People Coordinator

People Co-Ordinator

As a People Co-Ordinator, you will support the day-to-day operations of our People Team by playing a critical part in delivering a smooth employee experience by handling key administrative tasks across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Administration:

    • Coordinate and support all aspects of the employee lifecycle including onboarding, changes to employment, and offboarding processes through the People Services inbox.
    • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, reference requests, and other HR documentation.
    • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and personal files in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • HRIS and Systems Support:

    • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the HRIS.
    • Generate standard and ad hoc reports for internal use and compliance reporting.
    • Support the implementation and ongoing optimisation of HR systems and tools.
  • Employee Support:

    • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries, providing timely and accurate information or escalating where necessary.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities, and internal communications.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration:

    • Liaise with Payroll to ensure accurate transfer of employee data.
    • Support the administration of employee benefits, absence tracking, and statutory leave (e.g. maternity, paternity, sick leave).

  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure all HR processes and records comply with company policies and employment legislation.
    • Assist with audits and reporting related to compliance, diversity, and workforce metrics.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Good attention to detail
  • Competent at using Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of employment legislation
  • CIPD Level 3 or above
