People Coordinator
Office-based with regional travel - Reporting to the Regional Director
About Your Local
Your Local is the UK's fastest-growing window cleaning company. We're on our way to 35,000 customers and we're proud of how we're getting there, with flat teams, real trust, and the kind of structure that lets people actually get on with their jobs. Our Regional Directors run their patches, own their teams, and are genuinely close to the people doing the work. We keep head office lean and the regions empowered.
Right now, the East region has a fast-growing team of Window Cleaners. We're bringing in a People Coordinator to make sure every one of them feels supported, heard, and set up to do their best work.
What you'll be doing
- Sitting down with every cleaner in the East team every month for a 1-2-1, not a box-tick, but a real conversation. You'll make sure these happen consistently, are well-documented, and that nothing important gets lost between meetings.
- Looking after people when they join and when they leave. From day one inductions to final-day offboarding, you'll make sure every experience is handled with care and professionalism.
- Keeping a close eye on how people are getting on, spotting when someone's thriving or struggling, and making sure the right people know about it so something can be done.
- Being the kind of consistent, reliable presence that means every cleaner knows they'll be treated fairly and supported properly, every time.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
