We’re looking for a People Advisor to join our People & Culture team.

🚀 About the Role
As a People Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a high-quality people service that enables our managers and colleagues to thrive. You’ll partner closely with the business to provide expert guidance, support employee relations, and drive consistent, positive colleague experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing operational excellence with meaningful people interaction.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll have a broad and impactful remit, including: ✅ Advising managers on people policies, best practice, and employee relations matters ✅ Managing a range of low-risk ER cases (absence, probation, performance, flexible working) ✅ Supporting payroll processes in collaboration with Finance ✅ Supporting salary review processes with data-driven insights ✅ Owning and optimising our HR systems (HRIS) and people data ✅ Producing insightful people metrics and dashboards (turnover, retention, absence) ✅ Administering employee benefits and responding to queries ✅ Contributing to People projects and change initiatives ✅ Supporting onboarding and employee exit processes

🧠 What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from candidates who are: Experienced in HR / People Advisory roles Knowledgeable in UK employment law and confident in applying sound judgement Solution-focused, pragmatic, and able to move things forward Experienced in collating employee data for payroll Strong relationship builders who inspire trust across stakeholders Confident communicators who can coach and influence effectively Data-savvy, able to spot trends and proactively identify risks Passionate about continuous improvement and enhancing colleague experience Highly organised, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy

📍 Key Details
Location: Bournemouth (with occasional travel to London & Southampton) Hybrid working: Typically the team work flexibly from both office and home Hours: 37.5 hours per week (9:00–17:30, with flexibility as needed) Reports to: People & Culture Operations Manager
