P&C Data Analytics and AI Technical Lead

Make Power for Good

To join us at RES—the world's largest independent renewable energy company—is to play a critical role in revolutionising energy access for a zero-carbon future. Our mission is clear: a future where everyone has access to affordable, zero-carbon energy. Here, the challenges we tackle are among the most critical of our time, and the people driving them are leading the change.

About the Role

As P&C Data Analytics and AI Technical Lead, you will spearhead the development of analytics and AI products for People & Culture at RES, transforming complex workforce data into trusted, governed insights. These insights will equip P&C leaders, the Executive Committee, and the Board to make data-driven decisions that shape the future of our organisation.

This is a hand-on technical role, leveraging your expertise to:

  • Build AI/models using Python, SQL, LLMs, and machine learning.
  • Deliver automated workflows that reduce manual effort.
  • Operate within Azure-based platforms with a focus on innovation, not infrastructure.

Every solution you create will handle sensitive employee data with rigour, privacy controls, and ethical integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics & AI

  • Develop and own workforce analytics across headcount, attrition, absence, recruitment, diversity, and workforce planning, ensuring metrics drive real business impact.
  • Apply machine learning to critical P&C use cases, including:
    • Attrition prediction
    • Workforce segmentation
    • Flight risk modelling
    • Talent insights
  • Integrate generative AI and LLMs to create:
    • Prompt-engineered analytical tools
    • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques
    • Factually accurate, fair, and explainable outputs
  • Enforce rigorous validation of all AI-generated outputs for accuracy, bias, and sensitivity before stakeholder use.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
