People & Culture Manager

Greater Manchester | Full-Time | Office Based £43,000 – £45,000 + Career Development Opportunities

A hands-on HR leadership role with real influence

Sentrex Services UK Ltd is a growing national facilities management business delivering cleaning, grounds maintenance and support services across the UK.

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to lead our people function and manage our head office team. This is a highly visible, hands-on role working closely with Directors and operational managers to strengthen our people processes, develop our culture, support managers and help drive business performance.

This is not a corporate HR role hidden behind policies and procedures. We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of the business, supporting managers, solving problems and creating a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the People & Culture function across the business.
  • Manage, support and develop the head office team.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations matters.
  • Handle disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management cases.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and retention initiatives.
  • Maintain HR policies, compliance and employee records.
  • Coach managers and improve people management capability.
  • Help drive a positive, accountable and professional workplace culture.

About You

You may currently be a:

  • HR Manager
  • People Manager
  • People Partner
  • HR Business Partner
  • Senior HR Advisor ready for your next step

You will be:

  • Confident handling complex employee relations matters.
  • Experienced in supporting managers and senior leaders.
  • Organised, approachable and commercially minded.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day activity.
  • An excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior HR position.
  • Experience managing disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases.
  • Experience managing or supervising a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong employment law knowledge.
  • Ability to work from our Greater Manchester office on a full-time basis.

  • £43,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
