About The Firm:

The Role:

They're seeking a detail-oriented People & Culture Officer to join our team in Mayfair. This hands-on role is central to ensuring smooth delivery of core HR processes, including payroll, benefits administration, on-boarding, recruitment support, right-to-work compliance, and employee documentation. You'll also assist with Learning & Development activities by helping create and deliver training materials.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong organisational skills, and be passionate about delivering exceptional service to employees while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll & Benefits Administration: Process monthly payroll accurately and on time; manage pension enrolments; act as the point of contact for benefit queries and liaise with providers when needed.
  • HR Administration: Prepare contracts, offer letters, change letters, and maintain organised digital employee files. Provide day-to-day support to employees on HR-related questions and policies.
  • Recruitment Support: Conduct telephone screenings for shortlisted candidates; coordinate interviews; manage right-to-work compliance and audits.
  • On-boarding & Training: Ensure new starters receive a smooth on-boarding experience; assist with preparing schedules and system access; support training creation and delivery alongside the Learning & Development Officer.
  • HR Systems & Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records in the HR system; process changes such as promotions or salary updates; conduct regular audits to ensure data compliance.
  • Engagement Initiatives: Assist with projects, reward programs, internal communications, and events that enhance employee engagement.
