About The Role

This role plays an integral part in the P&C Practice team, delivering the people change and transformation programmes required to support business objectives through strong change capability, effective governance, and close collaboration with stakeholders across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement change management strategies for people projects and transformation programmes.
  • Translate business strategy and objectives into effective change approaches, leading the design and implementation of organisational models, cultural and behavioural change initiatives, and large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Lead specific deliverables within the business unit's change portfolio, as prioritised by the Senior Change Lead in partnership with the HR Director and Transformation Lead.
  • Design and deliver business readiness and change impact assessments to support effective planning, implementation and adoption of change.
  • Build change capability across Openreach through coaching, mentoring and role modelling best practice in change delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement team to identify opportunities to enhance change and project management services, processes and ways of working.
  • Drive the successful delivery of business transformation programmes by identifying risks, maximising opportunities and supporting the realisation of business benefits.
  • Support the design and delivery of interventions that improve colleague engagement and adoption of change.
  • Analyse people and programme data to generate insights, inform decision-making and produce meaningful recommendations.
  • Identify, monitor and escalate programme risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are agreed and implemented.

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Proven experience delivering business transformation programmes with a significant people change impact.
  • Strong ability to challenge, influence, negotiate and innovate at a senior level, quickly building trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Confident operating in ambiguous environments, translating complexity into clear business requirements, actions and outcomes.

Desirable Skills / Experience

  • Strong understanding of change governance and practices, with the ability to deliver effective change across a large organisation.
  • Experience applying data-driven analytics to generate insights and inform people transformation activities.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to clearly articulate rationale and engage people throughout the change journey.
  • Expertise in facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders to support programme delivery and alignment.
  • Graduate qualification, MBA or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience delivering complex change programmes and embedding sustainable outcomes.
  • Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • APMP, MSP, programme management qualification or equivalent professional project management experience.
  • Change management certification or demonstrable experience delivering change.
