Job Description
Sitting at the heart of our People Development team, you will partner closely with leaders, HR Business Partners and key stakeholders to identify capability needs, support performance and talent processes, and design and deliver impactful development solutions that strengthen our talent pipeline.
This role combines hands-on delivery with strategic input, offering the opportunity to shape development priorities, drive high-quality performance and talent practices, and remain closely connected to both the business and its people.
Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Needs Analysis
- Act as a trusted partner to leaders and HRBPs, identifying capability needs and shaping targeted development plans.
- Conduct learning needs analysis and translate insights into actionable solutions, supporting the annual development roadmap.
- Partner on performance and talent discussions to ensure development priorities are identified and addressed.
Design & Delivery of Learning Solutions
- Design and deliver blended learning interventions aligned to organisational priorities.
- Facilitate workshops and development programmes for employees and managers.
- Curate relevant learning content from internal and external sources.
Programme & Project Ownership
- Lead development projects and support key initiatives, including Canon Academies.
- Collaborate with EMEA teams to localise and embed regional programmes.
- Oversee the internal mentoring programme and contribute to broader talent initiatives.

LMS Management & Reporting
- Manage the LMS, including scheduling, data accuracy and system optimisation.
- Generate insights and reports to support decision-making and measure impact.
Performance & Talent Management
- Support the performance and talent management cycles, ensuring consistency and quality across UK & Ireland.
- Monitor performance outcomes, providing insights and identifying trends.
- Lead talent and succession discussions, recommending development pathways and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Learning & Development and Talent Management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence at different levels.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners, both face to face and online.
- Understanding of how to assess learning needs, create learning plans, and deliver learning interventions for individuals and teams' development.
- A hands-on, delivery-focused approach with strong analytical and data-driven capability.
- A genuine passion for helping others grow and develop.
- Previous experience using and managing LMS systems.
- CIPD level 3 or equivalent, vocational or professional qualification, or the equivalent professional experience is ideal
- Enjoys being part of a fun team.

The salary for this role is up to £46k dependent on experience, plus benefits
