The Opportunity
Join Informed Solutions and help shape how our people learn, grow and thrive.
We're looking for an experienced People Development & Experience professional to lead the evolution of colleague development, employee experience and engagement across our growing organisation.
Working alongside consultants and business professionals delivering some of the UK's most impactful #tech4good digital transformation programmes, you'll play a key role in creating an environment where people can build rewarding careers, develop their capability and perform at their best.
As part of our People Services team, you'll work closely with leaders across the business to shape and deliver initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, colleague development, engagement and organisational effectiveness.
Working alongside our Learning & Development Advisor, you'll provide the direction and oversight for our development approach, ensuring our learning initiatives are aligned to business priorities and deliver meaningful outcomes, while the Advisor coordinates the day-to-day delivery and administration of learning activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys influencing others, improving how organisations develop their people and creating positive employee experiences, while remaining close enough to delivery to see ideas become reality.

You'll partner with leaders and managers across the organisation to identify capability needs, enhance colleague experience and embed initiatives that support career development, leadership capability and organisational effectiveness.
While this role contributes to the development of our people strategy, its primary focus is turning that strategy into practical, high-impact initiatives that make a measurable difference across the colleague lifecycle.
You'll also provide day-to-day guidance and support to our Learning & Development Advisor, helping ensure learning activity is coordinated effectively and aligned to wider organisational priorities.
Success in this role means creating engaging development opportunities, enabling managers to build high-performing teams, enhancing the colleague experience and using insight to continually improve how we develop and support our people.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
