People & Development Manager

People & Development Manager – National Account

Company Description

BaxterStorey and Portico — a partnership with NatWest — create exceptional hospitality experiences across diverse locations, from offices and stadiums to universities. Our success is rooted in our people, and we foster an inclusive, growth-oriented culture where every colleague’s contribution matters.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a proactive, people-focused People & Development Manager to support our prestigious contract, working closely with the Account Director, operational leaders, HR Business Partner, and central Learning & Development teams.

As the driving force behind colleague development and engagement, you’ll:

  • Shape a consistent Hospitality 360 culture while strengthening leadership and talent management.
  • Support managers in building high-performing teams and unlocking individual potential.
  • Champion engagement, inclusion, and belonging through data-driven insights and continuous improvement.

A ₹65,000 (full package including travel) and a robust benefits package await you, along with opportunities for career growth in a Morgan Stanley backed environment.

Key Responsibilities

Culture & Hospitality 360 Excellence

  • Create a unified Hospitality 360 culture across BaxterStorey and Portico, embedding initiatives that enhance both employee experience and guest experience.
  • Partner with operational leaders and NatWest stakeholders to align values, behaviours, and shared people objectives into everyday practice.
  • Champion engagement, inclusion, and belonging using data to inform action plans and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Leadership & Capability Development

  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to implement initiatives aligned with business, client, and brand priorities.
  • Identify capability gaps, support tailored development plans, and coach managers in leadership, communication, and people management.
  • Promote continuous learning through coaching, mentoring, peer learning, and modern training approaches.
  • Evaluate learning activities to ensure they drive performance and customer excellence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
