Location: Paddington

Travel: 20% of the expected annual hours – domestically and internationally

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver the day to day physical security management across assigned Vodafone locations, ensuring a safe, compliant, and resilient environment. Deliver risk assessments, mitigation measures, third-party service provider oversight, and incident management, enabling a culture of security within the business.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of event security and executive protection (EP) to safeguard Vodafone people, leadership, assets, and reputation. This role delivers robust protective strategies for corporate events and high profile engagements, driving readiness, incident response, and vendor performance across markets.
  • Manage the security for corporate events. Including threat identification and associated risk assessments. Implementation of mitigation measures
  • Manage third party security partners to deliver the security objectives
  • Manage and execute the executive protection programme for senior leaders: protective intelligence, advance site surveys, route and venue security, low profile travel, residential considerations, secure transport, stakeholder engagement
  • Oversee physical security operations across assigned locations
  • Conduct site risk assessments; design and oversee implementation of mitigation measures
  • Oversee management of access control rights for assigned locations
  • Coordinate with Facilities, Operations, and business managers and events teams to ensure security alignment
  • Lead incident response and investigations into threats or breaches
  • Ensure compliance with Vodafone security policies, external regulations, and industry standards
  • Manage third party security providers and contractors against agreed SLAs
  • Monitor security trends and emerging threats relevant to assigned locations and areas
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management

Who You Are

  • Significant experience in event security and executive protection within corporate environments
  • SIA Close Protection licence (UK) or equivalent; First Aid at Work / FPOS I
  • Knowledge of applicable standards (ISO 22301, NIS2 etc.)
  • Experience working across multiple countries and cultures
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders to deliver events and protection programs
  • Event security Management,
  • Executive Protection management delivery
  • Threat assessment
  • Third Part service providers and stakeholder management
  • Ability to communicate with senior leaders and frontline staff
  • Strong planning, briefing, abilities
  • Competent Incident management and debriefing skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Discretion with sensitive information
