About the Role
As our People Experience Lead, you will help shape how work happens at Paymentology. You will design, implement, and continuously improve the frameworks, experiences, and insights that support performance, progression, engagement, and retention across the business.
You will work closely with senior leaders, People Partners, People Operations, Total Rewards, and other cross-functional teams to turn employee feedback and organisational insight into meaningful action and outcomes.
This role combines strategic thinking with practical execution. We are looking for someone who can:
- Build from first principles
- Improve how we operate at scale
- Leverage technology and AI-enabled solutions to create better, simpler, and more scalable people experiences
What You Will Do
You will help define, implement, and evolve the systems that shape how our people perform, grow, and experience the business. Your areas of ownership will include:
- Designing and improving our employee experience and ways of working
- Embedding behaviours that support our culture and business goals
- Owning our employee listening approach, including pulse surveys and engagement insights
- Turning feedback and data into clear, practical recommendations and organisational action
- Leading the design, implementation, and evolution of our performance and progression frameworks
- Improving fairness and consistency in performance reviews, calibration, and promotion decisions
- Identifying retention risks and working with People Partners and leaders to address them
- Driving measurable improvements in employee experience and performance practices
- Leveraging automation, AI-enabled tools, and scalable solutions to improve people processes and organisational insights

In this role, success means:

What We Are Looking For
You will likely bring:
- 8–12+ years’ experience in People/Human Resources roles
- Strong experience across performance, engagement, employee experience, and organisational effectiveness
- Experience in implementing or improving HR technology, automation, or AI-enabled solutions
- Confidence working with senior leaders and challenging constructively
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to turn data into actionable insight
- A practical, systems-oriented mindset with a focus on scalable outcomes
- Experience in a global or distributed organisation
