The Role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic People/HR Assistant to join our team and help foster a positive employee experience from day one. You’ll support our People team by:
- Handling recruitment
- Streamlining onboarding
- Managing employee administration
- Supporting payroll processes
- Keeping the behind-the-scenes work running smoothly
We’re looking for someone who: ✔ Enjoys helping others and building positive relationships ✔ Is exceptionally organised, meticulous, and detail-oriented ✔ Leads with friendly yet professionalism in a fast-paced environment ✔ Can multitask efficiently while maintaining a proactive attitude

Ideal candidates will have:
- Payroll experience (preferred but not mandatory)
- Previous administrative or HR experience (bonus!)

The Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records while ensuring HR documentation is current
- Coordinating interviews, meetings, and training sessions
- Assisting in recruitment activities, including vacancy postings and candidate communications
- Compiling payroll data for monthly submissions to providers
- Serving as the friendly first point of contact for employee queries and HR support
- Supporting HR reports, data management, and compliance tasks
- Organizing employee engagement initiatives, events, and wellbeing activities
- Contributing to process improvement projects for streamlined HR operations

About You
- Exceptional organisational skills – projects and tasks must run like clockwork
- Strong written and verbal communication – for everything from protocols to interpersonal connections
- Unmatched attention to detail – accuracy is critical for both people data and general documentation
- Positive, proactive mindset – because motivated people thrive where energy is embraced
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professional discretion
- Administrative experience – superior organisational ability (HR background added bonus)
