Job Description

As the first dedicated People Manager at Limbic, you will own the entire people function for a scaling international team across the UK, Europe, and the US. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will build scalable operations, strengthen company culture, and manage the full employee lifecycle during this critical growth stage.

What You Will Do

  • Own and manage the full employee lifecycle, from global hiring and onboarding to performance reviews, compensation frameworks, and employee offboarding.
  • Partner with leadership to scale operations internationally, ensuring contracts, compliance, and HR systems are robust for the UK, Europe, and expanding US teams.
  • Lead internal culture and engagement initiatives, implementing AI-driven tools to improve operational efficiency while maintaining a supportive, mission-driven work environment.

The ideal candidate

  • You have experience owning or scaling people operations within a fast-paced startup or growth-stage environment, preferably with exposure to international or US-based teams.
  • You are highly organized and comfortable building processes from scratch, switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution across payroll, benefits, and HR systems.
  • You are a proactive, tech-savvy problem solver who naturally uses AI tools to improve workflows and possesses the judgment to navigate sensitive people situations.
