People Operations & Systems Lead (Interim Project)

The Opportunity

An innovative, high-growth and scale-up biotech organisation is seeking an experienced People Operations & Systems Lead to support a critical transformation project within its People function.

Following a period of rapid growth, the business aims to:

  • Strengthen its people infrastructure
  • Improve systems and processes
  • Create a more scalable operating model to support future expansion

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, helping build a robust people operations framework while driving meaningful change across systems, data, compliance, and employee experience.


Key Deliverables

  • People Systems & Process Improvement
    • Optimise core HR and recruitment systems
    • Enhance data quality, reporting capability, and automation
    • Improve manager self-service functionality

Requirements

βœ… Strong background in People Operations, HR Systems, or HR Transformation βœ… Proven ability to support fast-paced, fast-evolving organisations βœ… Technical expertise with advanced HRIS and ATS

  • Proficiency managing: data workflows, reporting, and system optimisation βœ… Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required βœ… Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Confidence to influence and challenge constructively βœ… Interest in using technology and AI to enhance people processes and employee experience
