People Operations Apprentice

🌟 We’re Hiring: People Operations Apprentice

Apprenticeship | Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Up to £20,000 per annum

Location: Turnford, Hertfordshire, 2 office days per week

Are you organised, detail-oriented and looking to build a career in Human Resources? We're looking for a People Operations Apprentice to join our People & Culture team and gain hands-on experience supporting colleagues across the entire employee lifecycle.

Acacium Group are a leading global healthcare delivery partner and we are hiring a People Operations Apprentice. As part of our central People & Culture team, you'll support the delivery of operational HR services across the Group, helping to create an exceptional employee experience through accurate administration, compliance management, customer service and people data management, while completing a structured apprenticeship programme.

💡 About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Support the onboarding process by preparing contracts, issuing employment documentation and maintaining employee records across our People platforms.
  • Assist with compliance activities including right to work checks, DBS renewals, professional registration checks and audit preparation.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support across key people processes, including contractual changes, probation reviews, working parent cases and offboarding activities.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by acting as a first point of contact for colleague and manager queries through the People & Culture inbox.
  • Ensure employee data remains accurate and up to date across all People systems and platforms.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support wider People & Culture projects as required.

📚 Experience We're Looking For

  • No previous HR experience required.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in People, HR or Employee Experience.
  • Willingness and commitment to complete a relevant apprenticeship qualification.
  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer service or office-based environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
