We're supporting a well-established, values-led organisation with the appointment of a People Operations Consultant to join their People & Culture team during a busy and exciting period of change.

This is a broad generalist HR opportunity offering a blend of employee relations, stakeholder partnering, manager coaching, and project work. The successful candidate will work closely with managers across the organisation, providing practical HR support whilst helping to build manager capability and confidence.

Alongside day-to-day HR activity, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of People projects and process improvement initiatives, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing operational delivery with longer-term improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing employee relations casework including absence, performance, and conduct matters
  • Partnering with managers to provide practical HR advice and guidance
  • Coaching and developing manager capability
  • Supporting the design and delivery of manager training
  • Contributing to People projects, process improvements, and organisational initiatives
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple sites and functions
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies

About You

  • Strong generalist HR experience
  • Confident managing employee relations matters independently
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Experience coaching, influencing, and supporting managers
  • Comfortable operating within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience contributing to projects, organisational change, or process improvements
  • Pragmatic, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
