Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Please note, this opportunity is initially being offered as an 18-month fixed-term contract with the ability to start as soon as possible.

Requirements

Role-specific requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High emotional intelligence, putting our people at the centre of all processes
  • The ability to handle confidential data and sensitive information with discretion and empathy
  • Growth mindset and ability to take on feedback
  • Methodical and organised, with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and working autonomously to tight deadlines
  • Confident with systems, and quick to learn new ones; experience with an HRIS or ATS is a bonus, not a must
  • Interest in using AI and automations to speed up your work is also a huge plus!

Who you are

  • You're a team player with a can-do attitude; when something needs doing, you'd rather muck in than wait to be asked
  • You have a keen eye for detail; a wrong start date or a typo in a contract genuinely bothers you
  • You love making processes better; if you've done something twice, you're already thinking about how to make it slicker the third time
  • You're proactive and efficient; you spot what's coming and get ahead of it rather than waiting for it to land in your inbox
  • You're empathetic and build relationships easily; you notice how people are doing, not just what they need from you
  • You handle sensitive information and conversations maturely; people can tell you things knowing they'll go no further

The Company

The Challenge

Obesity has become a global epidemic; in the UK, we spend £9 billion a year alone on diseases like type 2 diabetes (that's 10% of the NHS budget). What's shocking is most of this is preventable - through sustained lifestyle and habit change.
