The People Operations Coordinator
The People Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the People Team by ensuring the smooth running of HR operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent employee experiences. You will be responsible for managing key HR processes including onboarding, right to work checks, learning and development administration, payroll support, and recruitment coordination. Ideally you'd be available to start in August as this is a 6 month assignment to provide Maternity Cover.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Compliance
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new starters, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Conduct and record right to work checks in line with legal requirements.
- Prepare and issue employment contracts and onboarding documentation.
Learning & Development (L&D) Administration
- Coordinate training sessions, maintain training records, and support L&D initiatives.
- Track mandatory training completion and assist with reporting.
- Training platforms administration
HR Operations
- Respond to general HR queries from employees and managers, escalating where necessary.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Maintenance of HR system.
- Support with HR system implementation, data migration, and ongoing maintenance.
- Assist with internal communications
- Maintaining and updating SharePoint sites as necessary.
Payroll Administration
- Collate and submit monthly payroll changes including starters, leavers, and movers.
- Work closely with Payroll team to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Employee Lifecycle
- Process documentation for starters, leavers, and internal movers.
- Ensure all changes are accurately reflected in HR systems and communicated appropriately.
Recruitment Administration
- Support recruitment activities including posting job adverts.
- Maintain and update recruitment platform.
Ad Hoc Administration
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance-related tasks
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience maintaining internal databases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
