The Role

We are looking for a People Operations Manager (12 month FTC) to serve as the operational backbone of our People Team. This role would suit someone looking to take the next step in their People Operations career. Working closely with the VP People, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the People function while gaining exposure to wider strategic projects and helping build scalable, best-in-class People operations as Numan continues to grow.

You'll be:

  • Own the end-to-end payroll and pension processes, ensuring legislative compliance, data accuracy and the production of insightful reporting for Finance approval.
  • Leverage AI tools, such as Claude and CoWork, to streamline People processes, automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain robust, audit-ready documentation, controls and governance processes, with particular focus on CQC compliance, ISO 27001 and internal policy requirements.
  • Build strong partnerships with external providers, proactively managing supplier relationships, contracts, service quality and value for money.
  • Own sponsorship administration, ensuring ongoing compliance with UKVI requirements while proactively identifying and mitigating people-related risks.
  • Develop and maintain people analytics and dashboards that provide meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making across the business.
  • Partner closely with the wider People team to deliver cross-functional initiatives and continuously improve the employee experience.
  • Administer employee share option schemes, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely grants and effective coordination with Finance and Legal.
  • Build trusted relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Finance, IT, Legal and Governance to ensure operational excellence and alignment across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
