People Operations Manager
London | Hybrid
This isn't a traditional HR role. This is a People Operations role responsible for creating a fantastic employee experience, supporting managers, maintaining compliance, and ensuring the business remains a great place to work.
If you enjoy helping people succeed, building positive workplace cultures, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the ideal opportunity.
What Will You Actually Be Doing?
1. Looking After New Starters
- Managing onboarding processes.
- Preparing contracts and documentation.
- Coordinating equipment and access.
- Supporting employees during their first few months.
- Ensuring a positive employee experience from day one.
2. Being the Go-To Person for Employees
- Holidays and leave.
- Benefits and allowances.
- Policies and procedures.
- Payroll-related queries.
- Workplace concerns.
- General HR support.
3. Keeping the HR Engine Running
- Managing employee records.
- Processing contract changes.
- Supporting payroll activities.
- Managing leave and sickness administration.
- Maintaining HR systems and data.
4. Ensuring Compliance
- Employment policies are up to date.
- Employee documentation is accurate.
- HR practices follow relevant legislation.
- Data is managed securely and appropriately.
- The business remains protected from unnecessary risk.

- Onboarding a new employee.
- Supporting a manager with a performance issue.

- Running development conversations.
- Managing absence and leave requests.
