Role Overview
The ideal candidate for this role will be based in Ireland, Scotland or Wales and will be able to travel across this region on a regular basis. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

Role Purpose
The role of Regional People Partner will partner Senior MDs and their teams to develop and then deliver an effective Regional People Plan (understanding manpower need, internal pipeline and talent acquisition requirement) that ensures that we attract, identify, select, engage and develop talent from Nandoca through to Regional MD. They will support Talent and the People Director to bring these plans together into Nando's overall People Plan allowing us to build a clear understanding and plan around our internal pipeline and our external talent need.
Day-to-Day Activities
- To work in partnership with the Regional Director to accurately understand, implement and manage talent planning activities across the region taking overall ownership of the manpower and succession plans
- To support quarterly people reviews across the region. These reviews will cover all aspects of the people agenda addressing talent plans, gaining Nandoca insights and understanding business performance, ensuring we are knowingly taking care of our culture
- From talent plan outputs ensure that 'Flying Higher' is growing people to be the best they can be in order to step up and be job ready thus meeting the internal manpower needs whilst knowingly taking care of our culture
- To play a role in benchmarking internal promotes to ensure we are growing and promoting the best people in our industry who will support our business growth and enhance & deepen our cultural strength
- To link and work with L&D to understand current learning interventions to support talent growth. Also sharing knowledge of talent gaps where appropriate learning interventions may be required to support our internal succession
- To work with the RD/MDs in understanding and addressing poor performance, by providing appropriate support and advice.

Hot Skills
- Proven experience operating as a People Business Partner (or equivalent) within a fast paced, multi-site environment, ideally hospitality, retail or customer facing operations
- Has an innate desire for people to be the very best they can be so they can realise their full potential
- Exhibits genuine curiosity and interest across HR and as such has a sound understanding of the principles of HR, legal HR framework and the role it plays within Nando's
- Demonstrates an ability to work in true partnership through appropriate support, guidance, challenge, collaboration and co-creation
- An authentic leadership style, inspiring key stakeholders to work in partnership
- Adaptable - knowing how and when to compromise so as to protect the individual, region and business
- Able to provide empathy but balanced with the appropriate level of objectivity
- Able to make sound judgements with maturity, knowing when to exercise discretion and when to escalate issues/matters
- Is able to take a long term, strategic view to the people agenda so that growth needs are met and cultural strength is enhanced
- Is able to deliver the overall strategic plan consistently but in a practical way so regional variations/needs are considered and met - resourceful, forward thinking and intuitive
