Permanent – Full Time
Salary - £50,000 - £55,000 + Company Car, Bonus, PMI and Pension up to 6%
Home Based – Scotland (ideally Glasgow area) with travel across Scotland as required | SC Clearance Required
We’re looking for an experienced People Partner – Change to join our UK & Europe HR team. This is a pivotal role supporting business growth, mobilisation and transformation activity across the organisation.
Working as part of our Growth & Change team, you’ll deliver expert HR support across bids, contract mobilisation, organisation design and large-scale change programmes. You’ll act as an internal consultant to senior leaders, helping shape people solutions that are commercially aligned, operationally effective and values led.
What you’ll be doing

Leading and supporting HR change projects across business units

Partnering with leaders on bids and mobilisation activity to shape effective people solutions

Supporting TUPE transfers, restructures, workforce transitions and contract turnarounds

Designing and implementing organisation design, culture and talent interventions

Coaching and influencing leadership and contract teams to align outcomes to our values, established Serco operating procedures and relevant laws and regulations

Developing implementation roadmaps, governance frameworks and risk mitigation plans

Ensuring people solutions align to policy, regulation and best practice

Working across the wider HR operating model to deliver integrated outcomes
What we’re looking for
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience leading HR change projects in complex, fast-paced environments
- Strong grounding in organisation design, talent development, culture and change management
- Experience supporting mobilisation, bids and business transformation activity
- Confident stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engaging at Director level and constructively challenging
- Experience working within unionised environments
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver at pace
- Eligible for or able to obtain SC clearance

Desirable:
- CIPD qualified (or working towards), or equivalent HR experience
- Full UK driving licence

You are a credible and resilient HR professional who thrives in complex environments. You’re comfortable working across internal and external stakeholders, influencing outcomes, and bringing clarity to ambiguity. You combine strong commercial awareness with a people-first mindset and are passionate about delivering sustainable change.
