# People Partner Location: Tadworth, Surrey Salary: £42,500 (37.5 hours per week) Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days in the office)
## Role Overview As the People Partner, you’ll collaborate with directors and managers to deliver People Team services—supporting both employees and volunteers—while focusing specifically on people management. In this key role, you will:
- Provide HR consulting and coaching rooted in best practices for people and culture, grounded in commercially-focused advice.
- Actively develop forward planning with leaders and managers, prioritising staff engagement and best-in-class performance.
- Drive initiatives to attract top talent and cultivate a culture of engagement, alignment with our Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
- Enhance managerial knowledge, capability, and confidence, adding value through People-Partnering initiatives aligned with The Children’s Trust’s core values.
## Key Responsibilities

Strategic Support:
- Work closely with the Senior Organisational Change Manager and fellow People Partners to ensure fair treatment and support for employees, volunteers, and trustees.
- Help the People Team achieve its wider organisational goals in alignment with management priorities.

Operational Efficiency:
- Assist with streamlining and automating processes to boost operational efficiency.

HR Advisory:
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, including:
- Performance management
- Conduct & conflict resolution
- Disciplinary processes
- Grievance & attendance management (including return-to-work interviews and sickness procedures)

- Support the HR System implementation, manage SelectHR (including Occupational Health - OH), and any linked process transformations.
- Assist with Gender Pay Reporting and action planning in collaboration with the People Team Reward & People Insights Manager.

Volatility & Misconduct:
- Manage complex cases related to misconduct, discipline, or trust-related concerns with sensitivity.
