HR Business Partner A leading media business

About the Role

We’re expanding our People team and are looking for a HR Business Partner to drive engagement, culture, and operational success.

This role supports our creative, commercial and operational leaders in shaping and delivering a growing media business. Your work will involve delivering core operational tasks while leading projects that enhance our structure, culture, and overall organisational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership & Development
    • Partner with leaders across all functions to improve people processes.
    • Contribute to strategic projects including organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives.
    • Support reviews, engagement campaigns and talent planning to retain and develop talent.

  • Day-to-Day People Matters

    • Advise on employee relations and complex HR cases.
    • Lead performance and development conversations to improve workplace effectiveness.
    • Coach and build capabilities for managers, ensuring a confident and capable leadership team.
  • Operational Excellence

    • Manage cyclical HR processes efficiently while adapting to fast-paced demands.
    • Balance strong attention to detail with a broad commercial perspective.
    • Work flexibly with ambiguity—critical in a scaling, evolving business.

Requirements

  • Proven HR Business Partner experience with significant generalist HR exposure.
  • A strong understanding of people-related commercial drivers in a creative or media environment.
  • Experience championing culture, structure and change alongside operational delivery.
  • Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable navigating ambiguity under pressure.
  • Flexible worker adaptive to a hybrid model (3 days in central London office).
