Description
We are looking for an energetic and inspiring People & Service Team Leader to support our store operations and lead our team to success. As a People & Service Team Leader, you will constantly strive to improve the customer journey by creating an engaged and motivated team who deliver exceptional customer service.
Supporting the People & Service Manager to develop the team and maintain visual and operational standards, you will drive conversion, sales, and KPIs.

About the Role
What You’ll Be Doing
- Consistently deliver great service and role-model this throughout the store team.
- Create a diverse and inclusive environment where all store team members feel valued.
- Build a wellbeing culture in the store as a direct line of communication for the team.
- Confidently duty manage across all areas of the store operation, including product and operational tasks.
- Support the People & Service Manager to delight customers by ensuring the best customer journey across service, people, visual, and operational excellence.
- Ensure the team within the store is empowered to deliver for the customer by prioritising customer experience in all decision-making.
- Have a strong understanding of commercial tools and how to leverage them to drive store performance.
- Take personal accountability for driving store KPIs, including:
- Sales
- Stock loss
- Payroll management
- Conversion rates
- Voice of Customer (VoC) feedback
- RFID inventory management
- People and engagement KPIs
- Support health & safety compliance while managing store operations.
- Foster team development to achieve a high-performing, motivated, and engaged store environment where contributions are valued and recognised.

- Fast-Paced Environment: This role demands agility as priorities may shift based on sales performance, trends, and seasonal demands. Expect to adapt quickly and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Reporting & Data Analysis: You’ll analyse customer feedback and sales data to drive improvements across the store.
- Team Leadership: Requires high emotional intelligence to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Hands-On Work: While strategic, you’ll also handle physical tasks, including:
- Product movement
- Floor resets
- Display adjustments
- Stock replenishment
- Weekend & Holiday Work: Retail schedule includes weekends, public holidays, and key seasonal periods, particularly during promotions, sales, and launches.
- Deadlines & Time Management: Must balance multiple priorities while meeting stringent deadlines.
- Positive Team Culture: You’ll play a vital role in fostering a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing environment.
