Job Title: People & Culture Services Team Lead
Location: Hemel Hempstead (3 Days on site)
Job Length: 12 Month FTC (Start early September)
Working Hours: 35

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.
With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 5 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.
About the role:
As People Services Team Lead, you will play a key role in leading the day-to-day delivery of People Services across Carlsberg Britvic. Responsible for managing a team that supports colleagues and managers with People & Culture queries and employee lifecycle activities, you will ensure the consistent delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused service.
You will drive operational excellence, oversee service standards and processes, and continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the colleague experience. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will support the delivery of an effective and compliant People Services function that enables our people to thrive.

Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of People Services, ensuring colleague lifecycle activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with service expectations.
- Manage and develop a team of People Services Advisors, providing coaching, guidance, and regular performance support.
- Ensure all People & Culture queries are resolved professionally, consistently, and within agreed service levels.
- Act as the escalation point for complex colleague and manager enquiries, driving timely and effective resolutions.
- Oversee the accurate processing of employee data and transactions, maintaining high standards of data quality and compliance.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the business to continuously improve processes, systems, and the overall colleague experience.
- Work closely with Compliance and People teams to maintain robust controls, audit readiness, and data integrity standards.
- Coordinate team workloads and resource planning to ensure effective service coverage and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain a highly capable, multi-skilled team through knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and best practice adoption.
- Represent People Services across Carlsberg Britvic, promoting a customer-focused approach and delivering a positive experience for colleagues and managers alike.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes within a shared services, HR operations, or People Services environment.
- Previous experience leading, coaching, and developing a customer-focused administration or HR services team.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workloads, manage competing deadlines, and maintain service standards.
- Strong attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
- Experience using HR systems such as SuccessFactors and case management platforms, including system administration activities.
- Good understanding of payroll processes and the impact of HR transactions on payroll accuracy.
- Knowledge of data privacy requirements and best practices relating to employee data management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to drive continuous improvement.
- A passion for delivering an exceptional colleague experience through high-quality, efficient, and compliant People Services.
