Senior People Systems Analyst – Workday Specialist
Location: [TBC – EMEA] Reports to: Head of HRIS Employment Type: Permanent

We’re seeking a passionate Senior People Systems Analyst with deep Workday expertise to join our People Systems team at this exciting stage of our evolution. You’ll shape our HCM strategy, lead post-go-live optimisation of our Workday tenant merge, and drive process improvements that scale across thousands of employees globally. About the Role
Dynamic & Strategic: Deliver meaningful change by shaping Workday’s role across our business—right from configuration through to scaling our People Systems and workflows for thousands of employees.
Catalyst for Automation: Reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and champion a smoother, more intuitive experience for HR, managers, and employees. Partner with Confidence: Work closely with the Head of HRIS, People team, and global stakeholders to turn business needs into Workday solutions. Security & Governance Champion: Ensure robust Workday security and data integrity, while driving compliance with Go humanos (Governance, Risk & Compliance) obligations. Release & Governance Leader: Support bi-annual Workday releases, including impact assessment, testing, training, and business communication.
You'll play an instrumental role in shaping FDJ UNITED’s People Systems—helping us deliver the best-performing, most responsible, and future-ready gaming experience for our employees.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Ownership & Optimisation
- Own the configuration and administration of our Workday HCM environment, designing and building business processes tailored to FDJ UNITED’s needs.
- Advise HR, managers, and employees on best practices for using Workday, ensuring maximum adoption and efficiency.
- Lead post-go-live optimisation of the tenant merge, aligning data, processes, and configurations post-implementation.

Automation & Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in manual processes and drive automation opportunities across the system.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gauge requirements, analyse needs, and deliver practical, scalable Workday solutions.
Technical & Security Leadership
- Lead the prioritisation and resolution of Workday fixes, enhancements, and support queries, ensuring alignment with global standards.
- Champion system governance and security, maintaining secure Workday configurations and advising on data protection measures.
Reporting & Project Delivery
- Build and maintain Workday reports to support People team decision-making.
- Partner across multiple modules (HCM, Absence, Benefits, Talent, Learning, Time Tracking) supporting projects from scoping to testing, training, and go-live.
- Ensure compliance with Go humanos (GRC) and report any security or compliance risks to your line manager.

Your Experience
We actively seek bold, results-driven thinkers with:
Essential Criteria
- 2+ years experience in a post-go-live Workday environment, preferably in a global/complex organisation.
- Deep functional expertise across Workday HCM, Absence, Benefits, Talent, Learning, and Time Tracking.
- Strong business process configuration skills, with a focus on Usability, Automation, and Reporting Retailability.
- Experience translating business requirements into Workday solutions.
- Hands-on experience with EIBs, Calculated Fields, or Workday Integrations at a functional level.
- Understanding of HR processes and their translation into system design.
Nice-to-Have
- Direct experience supporting or delivering a Workday tenant merge (this is our biggest current milestone).
- Familiarity with multi-geographic deployments and architectures.
- Exposure to rationalisation projects or system consolidation scenarios.
