We’re Gravita: the accountants fuelling ambitious businesses. We’re a full service, tech-enabled firm, working with entrepreneurs and businesses to help them achieve their goals, and make an impact in the world.

We’re growing fast and are bringing like-minded advisors together to form a full-service tech-enabled accounting partner for thousands of SMEs. Our team use their incredible expertise alongside intuitive technology to help businesses and entrepreneurs plan better and grow faster.

Our mission is to become the UK’s leading tech-enabled accounting firm for SMEs. We have ambitious goals and our high-calibre team work hard to achieve them. We are one team with one agenda, working collaboratively in a respectful environment to deliver a great service to our clients. So if you join us, you’ll not only be working on exciting client challenges, you’ll also be helping us shape the future of accounting.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced People Transformation Manager to cover a 12-month maternity leave, joining at a pivotal moment for the firm. This is a broad, senior-facing role spanning three interconnected areas: Places, M&A Integration and People Projects.

You’ll work closely with the Chief People Officer and Chief Transformation Officer, producing senior-quality outputs and influencing decisions that shape how Gravita operates and grows. This role requires someone who can move between strategic thinking and hands-on delivery – comfortable in multi-disciplinary stakeholder conversation one moment and deep in an integration plan the next.

Key Responsibilities

M&A Integration

With an active acquisition pipeline, people integration is one of the firm’s most business-critical workstreams. You’ll own the people side of every deal from due diligence through to business-as-usual.

  • Supporting people-side due diligence for new acquisitions, working closely with Finance, senior Gravita leadership and key stakeholders from the incoming firm on areas including workforce analysis, employment liability review and TUPE applicability.
  • Working with the incoming firms key stakeholders to lead the integration of newly acquired teams into Gravita – contract alignment, policy harmonisation and HRIS onboarding.
  • Managing trainee alignment and integration as part of each deal.
  • Managing benefits communication and the practicalities of welcoming new colleagues into the firm.
  • Working closely with People, Finance and the business to ensure integrations are joined up and run smoothly.
  • Producing clear, concise people due diligence outputs with risk ratings and recommended mitigations for the CPO and deal team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
