We specialise in cloud, data, software engineering, user-centred design and AI, helping organisations deliver better services through modern technology and agile ways of working.
We're currently supporting the delivery of critical digital services within a major UK government programme and are looking for an experienced Performance Analyst to join our growing digital delivery teams.
This role will support the delivery of large-scale digital transformation initiatives, helping improve digital services through data-driven performance analysis and continuous service improvement.
The Role
As a Performance Analyst, you will use data, analytics and user insight to measure and improve the performance of digital services.
Working within multidisciplinary agile teams, you'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, delivery managers, designers and stakeholders to develop meaningful performance measures, analyse user behaviour and provide actionable insights that drive continuous service improvement.
You'll play a key role in developing performance frameworks, monitoring service performance and ensuring robust analytics implementation that supports evidence-based decision-making across complex digital programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Analysis & Service Improvement
- Understand user needs and define measures to assess whether services are meeting those needs.
- Develop and maintain performance frameworks, key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting to effectively measure service performance.
- Analyse user journeys to identify opportunities for improving user experience and service outcomes.
- Deliver high-quality analysis and actionable insight to support continuous service improvement.

Analytics & Reporting
- Use Google Analytics 4, Google BigQuery and other data sources to monitor and evaluate digital service performance.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Looker Studio (Data Studio) or equivalent data visualisation tools.
- Bring together front-end and back-end data to build a comprehensive understanding of service performance and user outcomes.
- Communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, tailoring outputs to support informed decision-making.
Analytics Implementation & Data Quality
- Work closely with developers to define analytics requirements and develop tracking schemas that ensure accurate and future-proof data collection.
- Provide guidance on performance measurement, analytics implementation and best practice across multiple data sources.
- Validate data quality, identify data capture issues and communicate or escalate findings through the appropriate channels.
- Ensure analytics implementations support reliable reporting and meaningful service insights.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Build strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by using performance data to identify opportunities for service optimisation.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of performance analysis capabilities across delivery teams.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working as a Performance Analyst within digital or large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of performance measurement, service assessment and continuous improvement.
- Experience using Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Strong knowledge of Google BigQuery and SQL.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, Looker Studio (Data Studio) or equivalent visualisation tools.
- Proven ability to work with developers to define analytics requirements and tracking schemas.
- Experience validating data quality, identifying data capture issues and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working within agile multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience using Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Experience working on government digital services or large-scale digital transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with digital identity or user authentication services.
