Position Description

At CGI, you'll play a key role in transforming how critical services are monitored, measured, and continuously improved. As a Performance Analyst, you'll use data-driven insights to enhance service resilience, optimise performance, and help deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients. Working alongside talented colleagues in a collaborative environment, you'll have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, solve complex challenges, and drive meaningful innovation through modern observability and automation practices. You'll be empowered to take ownership of your work, supported in your professional growth, and encouraged to make a lasting impact across high-profile programmes.

CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will help shape the performance and operational excellence of complex, business-critical services by turning data into actionable insight. You'll analyse application, infrastructure and user experience metrics to identify trends, uncover root causes, and recommend improvements that enhance reliability, resilience and customer outcomes. Working closely with engineering, service management and client stakeholders, you'll use modern observability platforms and automation to support informed decision-making and continual service improvement.

You'll have the opportunity to influence how services evolve by developing meaningful performance measures, improving reporting capabilities and driving a proactive, evidence-based approach to operational management. Your expertise will help teams identify risks earlier, reduce recurring issues and maximise the value of observability and AIOps capabilities across the service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
