Performance and Information Team Role
The Performance and Information team provide a high-quality analytics service for clinicians and managers to support decision making. We are looking for creative people with a passion for using data and visualisations to influence and provide insights to help improve health outcomes of people experiencing mental health problems. The Performance and Information team has been recognised by NHSI as a national leader in developing high quality performance reports.
Role Overview
The role requires the successful candidate to provide performance reports for management on key areas for service line/Trust. It will require report production (both internal and external to the Trust), analysis of data and utilising visualisations software to enhance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and clinicians on the use, interpretation, analysis, and presentation of data.
- Act as clinical system and dashboard champion in relation to performance related information by supporting clinical teams in the effective use of clinical systems and dashboards by providing one-to-one training, disseminating good practice guides, and organising and leading on clinical system training events.
- Provide reports for management on key areas for the Trust and work closely with Information Analyst colleagues to develop new reports in line with service needs.
- Develop dashboards and visualisations to provide managers with insight into areas related to quality and performance.
- Work as part of the central performance team to supply high quality performance analysis.
- Act as clinical system and dashboard champion in relation to performance related information by supporting clinical teams in the effective use of clinical systems and dashboards.
- Prioritise, manage, and plan own workload to ensure the Trust’s returns meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines.

Flexible Working

The Performance Team currently operates a hybrid model which blends a mix of home and office working. Please note this is not a remote role.
