We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Performance and Analytics Analyst.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly capable and analytically minded individual with exceptional Excel and data analytics skills to support business decision making through reporting, analysis, and insight generation. You will help Business Banking stakeholders understand both financial and non-financial business performance, identify trends, and improve outcomes through data driven insights.

In this role you’ll:
- Support performance management activities through the provision of management information and analysis
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reporting to support business performance and decision making
- Analyse and interpret financial and non-financial business performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights
- Use Excel and other analytical tools to manipulate, validate, and interrogate data from multiple sources
- Improve and automate reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Explore and adopt new technologies and AI enabled tools to enhance analytical capability and productivity
- Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and analytical models
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at different levels of the organisation

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Strong data analytics skills with experience of analysing and interpreting complex data
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to include complex formulas, pivot tables / charts, Power Query, data modelling, dashboard creation and reporting
- Strong numeracy and mathematical skills
- Sound knowledge and experience of Python, SQL, Power BI and Alteryx
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to share and present complex information in a clear, concise, and accurate way
- Experience of collaborating with a variety of stakeholders
- Financial knowledge including profit and loss, metrics, balance sheets and our products and services
