Performance and Development Manager
Take the next step in your financial services career as a Performance and Development Manager, supporting Mortgage Advisors across Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire. This field-based role is ideal for an experienced coach who is passionate about developing people and improving performance.

Working closely with Mortgage Advisors, Area Mortgage Managers and senior leadership, you will deliver structured onboarding, coaching and ongoing development programmes while ensuring compliance with the Training & Competence framework. You will help individuals maximise their potential, improve business performance and contribute to the continued growth of a high-performing financial services division.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Performance & Development Manager
- Deliver structured onboarding and induction programmes for newly recruited Mortgage Advisors
- Coach and mentor existing advisors to improve productivity, performance and customer outcomes
- Conduct observations, development reviews, KPI meetings and CPD sessions within the Training & Competence framework
- Work closely with senior management to identify development opportunities and implement performance improvement plans
- Share best practice, support continuous improvement initiatives and encourage consistent standards across the region
- Produce performance reports and provide insight to support business growth and operational decision-making

What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience)
- CeMAP qualified or hold an equivalent recognised mortgage qualification
- Previous experience in coaching, mentoring, training or performance management within financial services
- Strong understanding of the Training & Competence framework
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and motivate others
- Organised and self-motivated with the ability to manage a varied regional workload
- Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing KPIs and performance data
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire
- Positive, professional approach with a genuine passion for developing people and driving high performance
