Company Description

Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end-of-life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, the only provider across all four nations, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country, while providing information and support on all aspects of dying, death, and bereavement. Our leading research pushes the boundaries of what we know about good end-of-life, and our campaigns fight for a world where everyone gets to have the best possible quality of life while living with an illness, they’re likely to die from.

The care and support we provide is highly valued by the people we care for and their loved ones, but at present we are only reaching around 10% of dying people at the end of life. Right now, one in four people in the UK with a terminal illness, do not get the care or support they deserve at the end of their lives.

We want a different society than the one we live in now. Our mission for the next five years is to close the gap in the number of people missing out on what they need at the end-of-life, through 3 ways:

  • Growing and transforming our direct care and support
  • Delivering more practical information and support
  • Leading in shaping the end-of-life experience

At Marie Curie, we believe everyone deserves the best possible experience at the end of life. Behind every great service is great insight – and we’re looking for a Performance & Insight Analyst who is passionate about data, driven by detail, and motivated by continuous improvement.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced analyst to join our central Caring Services Commercial and Performance Insight Team. Working across operational, commissioner and commercial reporting, you will transform complex data into meaningful insight that supports decision-making, improves services and demonstrates the impact of Marie Curie's work.

You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders and datasets, helping shape how data and evidence are used across Caring Services.

Marie Curie is investing in the future of its analytics capability through the development of a new Data Hub, modern reporting platforms and enhanced self-service analytics. This role offers the opportunity to help shape how analysis, Power BI reporting and insight are delivered across the organisation, supporting both operational decision-making and long-term strategic improvement.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys solving problems, is passionate about data, and wants to go beyond producing reports to play an active role in improving services and influencing decision-making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
