KPMG’s Business School (KBS) Audit focuses on nurturing Audit professionals’ knowledge and skills to sustain audit quality. The Performance and Learning Consultant collaborates with stakeholders to assess learning needs, recommend tailored solutions, deliver engaging training (including eLearning, classroom sessions, and self-study), and evaluate effectiveness. This role also involves project leadership, coordinating complex initiatives, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring seamless execution—both technically and operationally.
What You Will Do
Core Responsibilities
- Proactively consult with business units to achieve organizational objectives.
- Work with client Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to analyze and define learning objectives and requirements.
- Collaborate on delivering high-quality learning across formats like eLearning, classroom training, and self-study.
- Oversee course development, ensuring timelines and learning objectives are met.
- As a project leader, engage clients in performance conversations using structured methodologies.
- Project planning and management:
- Scope planning, work activity sequencing, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
- Schedule and budget development, including budget tracking and cost control.
- Resolving issues with judgment and escalation as needed.
- Execution and coordination:
- Manage day-to-day project activities and team meetings.
- Monitor progress with track leads in complex projects.
- Coordinate LMS training setup, communication plans, and documentation.
- Lead evaluation and measurement strategies, including tool deployment and plan development.

What You Bring to the Role
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Education, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Learning and Development in a client-focused, dynamic environment.
- Adult Education certification (or project management/instructional design training) is an asset.
- 2–3 years’ experience in evaluation and measurement.
- Technical proficiency:
- Technical literacy with self-paced interactive content creation.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exposure to industry-specific tools (e.g., LMS platforms, creative software).
- Leadership in project management:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, and align with SuccessFactors.

- Ability to prioritize challenges using robust project management principles.

Compensation
Audit Performance and Learning Consultant
- Base salary: $55,000 – $82,000 (varies by region—Ontario or BC).
- Salary placement depends on location, skills, and qualifications.
- Eligibility for bonuses as part of KPMG’s Total Rewards program (competitive benefits, professional development, and a supportive workplace culture).
