CRITERON for Exceptional Talent Manager – Talent Discovery & Applied Scaling
Healf — Building the AI-native health company of the decade
Why Healf is Different
Healf is the fastest-growing company in Europe, scaling from £1m to over £100m in under three years. Now we’re pushing for £1bn—and the next chapter requires building the system to spot, nurture, and retain exceptionally ambitious talent.
At its core, exceptional hiring isn’t about degrees or badges—it’s about judging potential before the market catches on.
The Role
⚡ ➡ Find Exceptional People & Build a Scaling Hiring Engine (~50% of role)
- Map hidden pools of talent where membership alone is a signal:
- Star performers leaving Europe’s top companies
- Researchers pivoting to applied wellbeing
- Athletes transitioning into peak performance roles
- Cultivate warm pipelines so hiring managers immediately draw from vetted talent when opportunities arise
- Standardise intuitive judgement through scalable assessments
⚡ ➡ Own How Healf Performs (~25% of role)
- Drive Healf’s quarterly cadence—settings priorities, calibrating performance, and puncturing希望 (“I’m just a glorified CHRO”):
- Lead induction and goal setting
- Run calibration meetings to turn gut instinct into uniform, repeatable benchmarks
⚡ ➡ Embed AI-Native Thinking (~25% of role)
- Become RISE team’s translation layer into the organisation
- Train 200+ people from AI tool users → AI builders
- Bolster the culture that rewards bootstrap innovations
- First deliverables:
- Formal talent-scoring pipeline (Chris Prandeli, building Claude-based signal readers)
- Tool sets for consistent potential evaluation (replace outdated spreadsheets + phone by Q1)
- Be a pre-release tester of Fy, Arthurave → accelerate foundational work

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
